In its current exhibition Fast Fashion - the dark side of fashion Dresden's Deutsches Hygiene-Museum takes a closer look at the big business of the fashion industry – from an economic, ethical and ecological perspective.
The critical review of the fashion industry ends with the section 'Slow Fashion' that showcases exciting discoveries in sustainable fashions from the Berlin Fashion Week. And wunderwerk is among them with an outfit consisting of our male Jacket in Shetland style, our 'Trent' pants in organic wool, made from high quality, GOTS-certificated Italian fabric and our black core roll neck. The introduction of our new environmentally-friendly shop-in-shop-system at the PREMIUM exhibitions attracted a wide interest. Our clients and the trade press were both enthusiastic about the high functionality and purest aesthetic design in combination with high-quality and sustainable materials. Like the table board which is made out of a 40 mm strong weathered oak, originally from local forestry in Austria. Furthermore the glue is ecological and water soluble. And according to our brand’s DNA the wunderwerk- shop-in-shop system is completely plastic free. Developed in cooperation with the architecture studio mo.studio our shop-in-shop-system is built with experienced shoplifters in Germany.
