wunderwerk is the first brand to use the particularly sustainable material Modal, produced by the company Lenzing in Austria. The pulp required for the fiber is obtained from 100% beech wood from the local forests and is produced in an energy- and resource-saving way. Edelweiss Modal is particularly suitable for soft and flowing fabrics. It has a soft feel and smooth drape – ideal for our women’s skirts. wunderwerk focuses on longterm sustainability and future-oriented technologies. Beyond that, the brand obtains TENCEL™ material from Lenzig, which is skillfully used in the women's dresses, blouses, and skirts. TENCEL™ is obtained from eucalyptus wood and convinces with its particularly environmentally friendly fiber production based on circular recycling.
